The tragic incident unfolded on January 11, when the lifeless bodies of Timms and a juvenile male were discovered near the Rueter-Hess Incline in Douglas County just before 9 a.m. Later that morning, officers conducting a welfare check found the lifeless body of Meyers, an adult female, inside a home on Blackwolf Drive in Parker.
In addition to the devastating loss of life, there was also a reported gas leak at the residence. Investigators are currently working to establish connections between the deaths but have not disclosed the relationship between those involved. As of January 16, the cause and manner of death have not been released to the public.
